Our names are Rick and Margee Detrow, we are the proud parents of two sons and a daughter. We have 7 Grandchildren.
We introduced our children to their first Golden Retriever named Sunnee, she was a big beautiful red Golden. We fell in love with her temperament, loyalty, intelligence, and human like personality. This is what prompt us to start our breeding program 24 years ago. Sunnee is no longer with us but she lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
We live in a small rural community in North East Ohio, with plenty of room for our dogs to run and play.
I worked for a veterinarian for 5 years and learned the importance of sanitation, care and the importance of breeding healthy animals. I have been a dog lover ever since I was a young girl, getting my first dog at the age of 9 and assisting her in whelping and raising her litter of unplanned pups by the age of 11. I knew then that this is what what I wanted to do . We have now added Bernedoodles, and Goldendoodles to our breeding program for the Families with allergies, I believe that every Family should have a dog or two!
I will work very hard to produce the best puppy I can, and I will continue to improve the breed.
